I have never heard of them but love the Live Web Cam !

I have not been here recently, but back in the 30%26#39;s my family lived here (of course, I was not even a glimmer in anyone%26#39;s eye). My great uncle was born in the cabin that now houses the soda machines.

How cool, mahjerle!

My friend and I stayed at cabin # 17...they are tidy with fully equiped kitchens. They are small but perfectly adequate. They are a stone%26#39;s throw from the beach, which is wonderful and the management is quite helpful. So overall, I would rate them 4/5. These are not ';luxury'; cabins, however if that is what you are looking for... but like I said my friend and I were impressed with what we found on a whim! The beach is lovely and it is fun to explore at low tide. Tillamook is nearby if you want to visit a dairy and it has an aircraft museum too! Hope this helps!

I have stayed there lots of times. They are small (some very small) updated and remodeled cabins, some with porches. Great in the summer (Across the street from the beach), great in the winter (watch the ocean and all of the fast-changing weather from inside your cabin). This year I stayed for 5 days the end of January. The weather was so nice, I played my harp on the porch every day! Another time it was stormy and we lost our electricity. Could not see your hand in front of your face! Now we always bring flashlights and candles. No luxury but everything you need. The town is small and very quaint with a good restaurant. Lots to do within driving distance.

Just spent 4 days (June 11-15, 2009)in Oceanside and stayed at the Oceanfront Cabins. Best deal along the Oregon coast and will worth it. We stayed 3 nights in cabin 20 with a kitchen and breathtaking view of the water and rocks. Last night we stayed in cabin 23 (our favorite) with no kitchen but fridge and microwave. TV. Sleeps 2 and also with a great view of the water. Relaxing! Best price! A short hop skip and a jump to the sand! We will definately be coming back here!

Great, thanks very much for posting that info :-)

I thank you all also! I%26#39;ve stopped in at Oceanside a couple times just for coffee and a walk on the beach and thru the tunnel but have never stayed there. The cabins look perfect! Mahjerle, when I do stay there (hopefully soon) I will think of your great uncle. that %26#39;s really wonderful Oregon history!

I am thinking that I should get some sort of special discount to stay there, given the family history? Don%26#39;t you all think??? LOL!!!
