Does anyone know of public parking near the new Courtyard City Center? The hotel%26#39;s rate is $29 per night and we are hoping to find something less. Alternately, what would be the nearest stop for the light rail that we could avoid the rental car altogether and just use the light rail from the airport.

My wife works just 1/2 block from the new Courtyard so I definitely know the area; unfortunately, I don%26#39;t know alternates to the $29 valet fare, garage-wise. As for nearest stops on MAX, you can either take use the Oak/Sw 1st Ave. stop and walk about 4 blocks west, or ride a bit further and get off at Pioneer Square, then walk about 3 blocks north along 6th. Either is an easy walk: flat, curb cuts (if you have rolling luggage) and hassle-free...
If you opt to rent a car in downtown (recommended, you save $$ on the airport rental surcharges) Enterprise, Hertz, Avis and Dollar are all a short walk from Courtyard...
