Hello I will be traveling to Eugene next week. Can someone recommend a nice seafood restaurant in Eugene/Springfield? Something reasonably priced and good quality/fresh. And maybe a brewpub or 2?
Thanks,

McGraths by Valley River Center is the only real seafood restaurant in town, although most of the good restaurants offer a selection of seafood dishes.
Newmans and Fisherman%26#39;s Market are more the fish and chips type of places connected with their markets. In my experience Fisherman%26#39;s Market (on 7th) has more variety, but Newmans has more of an upscale clientele.
Too many pubs to consider, but I%26#39;ll recommend McMenamins North Bank for its location right on the river (especially if you can get a table on the deck); Steelhead; and High Street (which always ranks high in the polls, although I%26#39;ve only been there once). McMenamins 19th St pub is right next to the Agate Alley pub and both are good.

Also, for an almost on campus environment...

And, just in case that doesn%26#39;t quench your thirst, try the Bierstein, which has maybe a dozen microbrews on tap and 1000 other beers on hand (with pretty good pub food). Fun stop, but better for lunch, before the campus crowd gets there.
That ought to meet your needs for a day or two.

I can vouch for McGrath%26#39;s and North Bank. I%26#39;d pick the first one for good, fresh, PNW Seafood and the latter for the ambiance.
