Got a deal from State Parks today, Stay 3 nights and get one free at selelcted Parks. Sorry to say Sunset bay not on list, but Cape Blanco and Humbug Mtn are.
I am wondering about wind. Seems i remember Cape Blanco gets a lot of wind. and I would guess Humbug Mtn does not. Can anyone help?
Cape Blanco
I saw that two. Too bad it only includes the first come, first serve. Butm three nights for the price of two is a great deal!!

Cape Blanco
Cape Blanco is the wetern most point in Oregon, so yeah, it%26#39;s pretty windy. Nice campground though, an you can find spots tht are wind protected.
Humbug is a nice campground and little wind gets in there. The only drawback is it%26#39;s pretty close to hwy 101.
Cape Blanco CG has a few cabins, and one or two of them actually have an ocean view! The CG is tucked back behind a whole lot of vegetation, which probably helps to block the bulk of the wind.
Thanks for input. we were there maybe 3 years ago to the lighthouse and it was real windy, but did not check out the cg.
Actually it is my wife%26#39;s sister and family who is looking to go there, so have passed info along to them.
