Looking for inexpensive stay

My wife and I want to get away next week to Manzanita and are looking for suggestions on inexpensive accom.

We%26#39;d stay for two weeknights and would like to stay within $80/night.

We don%26#39;t need anything too special. Just clean and on the beach.

How%26#39;s the San Dune Inn?

Yes, the Sand Dune is several blocks (4 maybe) from the beach, but it%26#39;s a nice stroll. Check out the website below for some other options. All but the Inn at Manzanita are 1-2 Star facilities. That%26#39;s not a bad thing, just would hate for you to go with higher expectations than Manzanita can deliver in terms of lodging. It%26#39;s a WONDERFUL little beach town with once of the best beaches on the coast.

I%26#39;ve always liked the Sunset Surf- I havent been there in awhile to know exact prices, but remember it being clean and less expensive. And right on the beach.

Looking into both Sunset and San Dune.

Our expectations are nominal. We%26#39;ve been to Manzanita, Cannon, Yachats and elsewhere but it%26#39;s been awhile and don%26#39;t recall where we stayed.

We really just enjoy a place that%26#39;s clean and friendly.

No fancy, stuff needed. We actually enjoy the %26#39;60%26#39;s %26#39;70%26#39;s almost retro feeling of some of the old motels on the coast.

Were very hard to disappoint!

The Sunset Surf is in a great location, rigth across the street from the ocean, it looked clean and comfortable when we were in Manzanita a few days ago. They have a nice outdoor pool area there, also. Enjoy your time on the coast! :)

maybe i lucked out -- just booked the sunset surf for 4 people and a dog - with the discount that they offer on their web site the cost is about 105 per nite incl taxes
