Does anyone have receommendations for camping in this area?

You posted this a while ago...but incase your still wondering...the best place would be Memaloose State Park...it%26#39;s right off the freeway, and as long as you stay in a site that is closest to the water..it%26#39;s pretty quiet campground considering its%26#39; next to the freeway.




Just an update to my question. We decided to stay at DESCHUTES RIVER STATE RECREATION AREA and for two nights. This trip is for my mother and she wants to spend a bit more time in Oregon.




Deschutes state park is a great one nighter place to camp. Just be aware the trains are VERY loud there. I would recommend trying to get a site in the far back end of the park. (not quite as loud)
