Just wondering where are the best places to camp along the coast. We are planning stops in Seaside, Cannon Beach and possibly Long Beach. We are mid week and I see that a few of the State Parks still have vacancies, so I would like to book ASAP. There are so many to choose from though, both State and private campsites.

Fort Stevens is always nice, and there%26#39;s plenty of things to do there.

Camping on the coast is typically cold and wet, I would splurge on a rental unit if you can - nothing like a nice warm fire place, shower and glass of wine after a long walk on the cool Oregon coast beach! Lots of good deals on rentals right now - try VRBO and name your own price!

Actually, it%26#39;s not. Depends upon time of year.
Are you tent camping or do you have some form of RV, MYKASMOM? If so, do you want hookups?
How long do you have to stay?
we have an RV but do not require hook up, basically we just want to see as much as we can in the few days that we have...
Although we%26#39;ve never stayed here, this always looks nice to us:

There is also Cannon Beach RV Resort. They have a free shuttle into Cannon Beach which is handy:

If you have a smaller RV, you might look at Sea Ranch in Cannon Beach:

However, the sites are tight if they are anywhere near full!
As mentioned above, there is a State Park at Fort Stevens and also a *big* KOA out there, look under Warrenton. Not near the ocean, either one of them.
