Can anyone recommend a good and inexpensive place for breakfast in Medford? Has anybody stayed at the Marriot Courtyard by the airport? Thank you.
Breakfast in MedfordShoot, the good breakfast places in the Medford area that come to mind are in Ashland. ;-) Brothers and Morning Glory have both been recommended to me but we usually stay in a B%26amp;B and don%26#39;t venture out for breaky.
When I visit my Grandpa, he always wants me to take him to Elmer%26#39;s. It%26#39;s not fancy but the service is OK and the food is usually hot. Good place for predictable eggs and pancakes.
I saw that a Black Bear Diner opened recently. If it%26#39;s anything like the one in Bend you get a lot of food, and every bite tastes the same. And it%26#39;s not great. And it%26#39;s slow. But that%26#39;s the one in Bend... maybe the one in Medford is better?
Hope you get some good suggestions.
Breakfast in MedfordI ate at the Black Bear Diner last year, it was fine. Lots of food, not too expensive but nothing that I remember as very flavorful. They do post the menu on their web page, just google the name and it should show up. Years ago I did have breakfast at a great little place in downtown Jacksonville, I don%26#39;t know the name but it was a little and had the most amazing latkes, someone else may know the name. Your hotel may have breakfast also.
I second Morning Glory in Ashland ... also like the Breadboard (in Ashland) as well.
Solve your problem by staying at the Homewood Suites in Medford instead of the Courtyard at the Airport. We have stayed at both and the breakfast at the Courtyard is quite good, but they do nick you for $10 or so for it. At the Homewood Suites, at least the day we stayed there, the breakfast is better than at the Courtyard: really good potato pancakes, in addition to the usual waffles, eggs, etc. AND, the breakfast is free with your room. Better rooms than the Courtyard, as well.
